Customer Service Representative~ Pharmacy
Position Summary - (Major Purpose of the Position):
Under general supervision is responsible for the initial encounter with customers and handles their basic sales.
Experience and Education:
- Must be at least 16 years old with working papers and pursuing a high school degree or have graduated with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be oriented and sensitive to customer needs and aware of the importance of confidentiality regulations (HIPAA)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to work with initiative under general supervision
Position:
- Assist customers with prescription intake and delivery, purchasing, Over The Counter medications, & general merchandise
- Help customers locate products throughout the storewhen needed
- Use POS cash registers to ring up customer's prescriptions, lottery, gift cards, phone cards, or paid on accounts
- Answer phones and answer general questions or write down prescription numbers- refer all other calls to Pharmacists
- Dust and straighten merchandise on shelves and run sweeper when needed
- Assist customers with Sony Picture Station
- Assist in nightly duties such as cleaning coffee pots, and turning off cappuccino/coffee maker, copier, and other lights
